Alen Simonyan sent a letter of condolence to the Speaker of the Majlis of Iran

National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan sent a letter of condolence to Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in which it is expressly stated:

"Your Excellency,

We accepted with deep sorrow the death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, members of the government, and their accompanying staff as a result of the helicopter crash.

The Republic of Armenia and the Armenian people share that tragic pain with the fraternal people of Iran.

At this challenging moment, allow me, Your Excellency, to express deep condolences, words of comfort, and fraternal support to you, the members of the parliament, and the friendly people of Iran on behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and myself."
