"I can't be serious about those people." Mirzoyan about former diplomats

RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced that the deputy prime ministers in charge of the border commissions agreed to start the demarcation process based on Alma-Ata, 1991. the 1991 declaration, and many countries and organizations around the world, including the OSCE, welcomed this bilateral agreement.

Mirzoyan also referred to the statements of the All-Armenian Council of Diplomats. According to the minister, he continuously tries to avoid getting involved in internal political processes. "I am making efforts not to cross the boundaries of politeness in the political debate, but I just can't help recording a couple of dry facts now. The "experienced" diplomats you mentioned were probably the defectors who left their posts, literally in the ditch, during the days when military aggression took place on the sovereign territory of the country. After mentioning this fact, I can't be serious about those people and their positions. This is the mildest assessment I can give. But the reality is worse. By undermining the Alma-Ata declaration and the peace process based on it, these people continue, I cannot say for sure whether consciously or unwittingly, to undermine Armenia's sovereignty, statehood, and territorial integrity. In the best interpretation, not knowing, in the worst interpretation, at the behest of another country," declaration, and many countries and organizations around the world, including the OSCE, welcomed this bilateral agreement.
