Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that dozens of people were arrested and detained on treason charges after 2020. "I assume that most of them already have the status of convicts."
According to him, there are cases where they know that a person is an agent, but there is also a threshold of proof. "We know about agency networks in Armenia. Now, you will ask why those networks are not arrested like before. Do you think these agency networks were discovered and arrested in one day? No, it did not happen in one day; it followed a clear procedure. When there is a doubt, the doubt is checked; when facts justifying the doubt appear, work is already being done on the threshold of proof."
