RA MFA, about the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan
In response to Radar Armenia's question, the spokesperson of the Armenian Foreign Ministry, Ani Badalyan, clarified whether Armenia has agreed to meet the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan and, if so, when the meeting will occur.
"As we mentioned before, RA considers and is in favor of mediation efforts or negotiation platforms that are really aimed at the goal of achieving lasting peace in the South Caucasus, supports fundamental principles and mutually agreed documents, including the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration on the process of recognition and demarcation of each other's territorial integrity by Armenia and Azerbaijan. We will inform you about the date of the possible meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan at the suggestion of the Kazakh side as soon as an agreement is reached," said Ani Badalyan.
