The Standing Committee on Defense and Security Affairs of the National Assembly discusses the agreements on cooperation between the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs and the EU Law Enforcement Cooperation Agency and the agreements on the Safe Channel between the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs and the EU Law Enforcement Cooperation Agency.
Accordingly, it is planned to have a communication officer in Europol. "Our liaison officer, who will represent the entire law enforcement system, will have a residence in the Netherlands, through which Europol will undertake to provide the infrastructure and all other additional devices and equipment for a safe channel, and the entire process will be at the expense of the EU. We will also have a similar infrastructure in the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs building. The liaison officer will have access to all possible databases of the law enforcement system, which will ensure cooperation between the EU and RA, and this will ensure smooth cooperation between RA and the EU on a 24/7 basis," Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan informed.
