RA Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan stated that, in his opinion, there are no political prisoners in Armenia.
"Armenia is a democratic country to the extent that every day you open social networks and in public speech, many oppositionists and their lawyers express satisfaction with a just decision in this or that judgment. These decisions are made every day," said Grigor Minasyan.
According to him, everyone, current, former or future officials, should know that there are no ones who are theirs and those who are not theirs. "And if a person is suspected of a crime, our law enforcement officers will take appropriate actions," he said.
Minasyan also said that criminal cases are initiated against officials or their relatives, regardless of whether they are official.
