"Armenia has nothing to concede." Kocharian

Artur Hovhannisyan, the secretary of the KP faction of the National Assembly, stated that no one is ready and able to hand over any plot of land from the internationally recognized borders of Armenia. "What is outside is outside," he said.

MP Andranik Kocharyan also stated that choosing boundary and demarcation maps is the most challenging problem that should be addressed during the negotiations. "A plan to draw a state border is being implemented about the demarcation issue. During this period, the topic is not so much the map as the speculation that Armenia is ceding its territories. Armenia has nothing to concede; the RA authorities act on a simple principle: what is ours is ours, but that ours must be recorded within the framework of the bilateral agreement. If we proceed with the Alma-Ata declaration, it should also have its own map. There is a lot of speculation that we are going the way of solving problems one-sidedly. There is no such thing; it cannot be one-sided, and we still have a way to go," he noted.
