Nikol Pashinyan met with Charles Michel

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, during the inaugural nuclear energy summit.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to Armenia-European Union cooperation.

Thoughts were exchanged on the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process, and the importance of the implementation of the agreements reached as a result of the tripartite meetings of the President of the EU Council, the Prime Minister of Armenia, and the President of Azerbaijan held in Brussels on May 14 and July 15, 2023, was emphasized. According to this, the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan mutually recognize each other's territorial integrity based on the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration; the distinction between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be carried out based on the Alma-Ata Declaration, the opening of regional infrastructure will take place under the sovereignty and jurisdiction of Armenia and Azerbaijan, mutuality and principles of equality.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia reaffirmed the government's commitment to the mentioned agreements and presented the "Crossroads of Peace" project.
