RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations during a joint statement with the Secretary General of NATO. "We expect the firm support of the international community, including NATO, for the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, based on known and mutually agreed upon principles, as well as the unequivocal rejection of the policy of coercion and threats," Pashinyan said.
According to him, proposals for the mirror withdrawal of troops from the 1991 Armenia-Azerbaijan border, mutual control of weapons, and the signing of a non-aggression pact were also presented. Still, Baku has not responded positively.
Pashinyan referred to Armenian-Turkish relations. According to the Prime Minister, implementing the agreements reached with Turkey in 2022 and subsequently reconfirmed can have a positive effect on establishing stability in the South Caucasus region.
