"No RA official has the right to negotiate on handing over any territory" (VIDEO)

Today in the parliament, when the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan presented the report on the foreign relations results of 2023, Christine Vardanyan, a deputy of the opposition "Armenia" faction of the National Assembly, raised a question: If everything is so good, why is everything so bad?

The opposition deputy reminded, "A year ago, you were talking about the rights of Armenians living in Artsakh, and a year later, we are in a situation where we are discussing the issue of handing over villages from Tavush. This is the reality, and your report does not give the impression that you are the minister of foreign affairs of the state formation of the genocidal people a century after the genocide."

Mirzoyan said that the political opposition tends to present everything as black as possible, make claims, and derive a question from them, creating the impression that this claim is a fact.

"You made several statements that are completely untrue. You say that you are handing over a village from the Tavush region. Therefore, any RA official has no right to conduct negotiations regarding Tavush or hand over any territory to the RA. This is an axiomatic truth guaranteed by legal mechanisms," he said.
