The need for active involvement of the German-Armenian community was emphasized

On March 11, a delegation from the Armenia-Germany friendship group of the RA National Assembly visited Hamburg. They met with Maraike Engels, the first vice-president of the Hamburg parliament.

The meeting focused on growing Armenian-German relations and expanding parliamentary cooperation between the two countries. This cooperation should include more than just the federal level; it should also include the regional level. The meeting also addressed the prospects for developing political and economic ties between the two countries.

During the meeting, Maraike Engels requested information about the humanitarian programs implemented by the RA government to provide support to people forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh.

The meeting participants emphasized the need for the German-Armenian community to actively participate in Hamburg's social and socio-cultural life.
