The Foreign Minister of Cyprus, Constantinos Kombos, stated that Cyprus strongly supports the Armenia-EU relationship and is in favor of increasing the EU mission in Armenia.
"Cyprus will systematically work towards strengthening the EU-Armenia dialogue, we will support economic and political measures that will bring Armenia closer to the EU," he said. The Foreign Minister of Cyprus also stated that they continue to be against aggression. "We welcome all the efforts of the last year to normalize relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Be sure that we fully support our Armenian friends in this matter."
RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, speaking about the relations with the EU, noted: "The Republic of Armenia is deepening its relations with the EU. Together with the EU, we are trying to see what new tools and mechanisms can be added to our RA-EU agenda."
