"Russia should clarify its position, not Armenia." Armen Grigoryan to Lavrov
"I would say that Russia, as a CSTO member, should clarify its position towards Armenia, not Armenia," announced the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, responding to the statements of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
According to him, Armenia implements a diversification policy, "The acquisition of military equipment with Russia has dropped from 96 percent to 10 percent, and this means that Armenia is diversifying and acquiring partners not only in the West but also in other places, in Asia, and in India."
Grigoryan asked whether we were talking about security or economic partnership. "And economics and security. I will also mention economic figures. Even according to the figures for January, the trade turnover with the UAE reached 16 percent, and last January, it was 4 percent. This means that great changes have taken place. RA implements a diversification policy in economy, politics, and security."
