"They gave us anesthesia, and for six years, the Russians have been killing us." Sasun Mikayelyan
After the 44-day war, the EMU kept the borders of Armenia. ECU President Sasun Mikayelyan said this today in a briefing with journalists in Yerablur, noting that they are doing their own thing, "We are continuing what the General started."
Addressing the people, Mikayelyan said that we should be united in the geopolitical situation to avoid facing more significant difficulties in the future.
Mikayelyan referred to the prisoners in Baku, noting that today, the former presidents of Nagorno-Karabakh, the former commander of the Armed Forces, and other persons are also captured. "I don't want to politicize, but let's understand that today, there are people who trust the Russians 100%; let me say it clearly."
The President of the EUM raises the question: Couldn't the Russians have brought them to Armenia? "I am speaking from my point of view as Sasun Mikayelyan. And during these years, after the war, what did they do for us as CSTO members? They gave us anesthesia, and the Russians have been killing us for six years. This is clear proof to you that the enemy has captured the three presidents of our country, and the peacekeeping forces in that region are the Russian forces. What should the peacekeeping forces do? It's a border; if an Armenian crosses that side, they should shoot; if a Turk crosses, they should shoot," Sasun Mikayelyan said.
