On March 4, within the framework of his official visit to the Republic of Armenia, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, had a private conversation with the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Greece, Nikolaos Dendias, which was followed by the meeting with the extended composition of the delegations.
During the meeting, the current course of cooperation between Armenia and Greece in the defense field was discussed, as the works carried out in the direction of the agreements reached during the negotiations held in Athens in December 2023, and several new directions of cooperation were outlined.
After ratifying the agreement on military-technical cooperation between the two countries' governments, it was agreed to give a new charge to the military-technical cooperation. During the meeting, the sides also exchanged ideas on regional security issues.
