Armenia will have a military attaché to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and OSCE. By the decision of the RA Prime Minister, the post of Defense Attaché was established.
Based on Article 10, Part 8 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia, "On Diplomatic Service," defining:
1) the position of attaché for defense issues of the Republic of Armenia attached to the mission of the Republic of Armenia in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization;
2) The position of attaché for defense issues of the Republic of Armenia in the Supreme Command of Allied Forces in Europe of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization attached to the mission of the Republic of Armenia in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization;
3) The position of the attaché for the defense issues of the Republic of Armenia is attached to the mission of the Republic of Armenia in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe," the decision states.
