On February 28, 2025, around 05:15, in the border area of the Tegh community of the Syunik region, a soldier of the Azerbaijani armed forces crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line, who was armed with an AKM-type assault rifle and one safe box.
The soldiers of the Ministry of Defense neutralized him.
In connection with the incident, the RA Investigative Committee initiated criminal proceedings under the relevant articles of the RA Criminal Code. The investigation is ongoing.
