Mirzoyan emphasized the fact that RA joined the WIPO treaty base

On February 27, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Darren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization, in Geneva.

The interlocutors discussed the prospects of expanding cooperation between Armenia and the WIPO, expressing readiness to continue efforts towards closer partnership, including by implementing specific projects. Both sides emphasized the high potential of interaction in the fields of high technologies, innovation, economy, and education, as well as the promotion of business relations, increasing the involvement of women and youth, and the willingness to use it to the maximum. In this regard, Minister Mirzoyan emphasized that RA joined the WIPO treaty base and the already-formed successful cooperation experience.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Secretary General of the WIPO discussed possible mutual visits and the opportunities provided through cooperation with the WIPO Academy. Thoughts on the works carried out to create the National Intellectual Property Training Center were exchanged.
