"I don't find it incredible." Tunyan about Zelensky's possible visit

Babken Tunyan, deputy of the CP faction of the National Assembly, referred to the possible visit of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, to Armenia. Tunyan said that, as a deputy and member of the faction, he had no information about that visit. "But I don't consider it incredible," he said.

Tunyan responded to the question: Will the visit not contain any dangers? "I don't consider myself an expert; there may or may not be reason to think. I don't want to give a positive or negative assessment; after all, the president of Ukraine is the country's elected leader, and, like other leaders, if there is no special ban, he can visit Armenia."

He answered: "Is there no anti-Russian tone in the visit?" "You can find anti-Russian shades in everything if you look for them. Anti-Russian shades can be found in connection with the ratification of the Rome Statute or any other decision. But since there is no official announcement yet, let me not comment."

Tunyan also referred to Nikol Pashinyan's statement that Armenia's participation in the CSTO is frozen: "At this moment, the prime minister means that our activity in that structure is almost frozen. It is not a secret. We do not participate in the main actions, and we can say that it was not Armenia that left CSTO, but CSTO left Armenia."
