The delegation led by Lithuania's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs was hosted in Parliament.

Lithuania was the first country to recognize the independence of the Republic of Armenia. We value the deepening of relations with Lithuania and the development of cooperation in various fields and platforms. Welcoming the visit of the delegation led by Lithuanian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Jonas Survila to Armenia, said Arman Yeghoyan, Chairman of the Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly.

Arsen Torosyan, head of the Armenia-Lithuania Friendship Group of the National Assembly, also participated in the meeting held on February 22.

The interlocutors referred to bilateral interaction within the framework of Armenia-EU relations. Arman Yeghoyan emphasized the role of Lithuania in deploying the EU civilian observation mission on Armenia's border.

The chairman of the Standing Committee on European Integration presented the regional security situation and challenges to the guests.

Arsen Torosyan spoke about the close relations between the friendly groups of the parliaments and emphasized that they have been developing dynamically in recent years.

The meeting also touched on other issues related to promoting bilateral cooperation, including the liberalization of EU patents for Armenian citizens.
