EU Ambassador to Armenia Vassilis Maragos announced that the Vice President of the European Commission, High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell, wants to visit Armenia.
"I think that his presence here will be welcome. He reported this to the Foreign Ministry last week," Maragos informed.
According to the EU Ambassador, there are already certain results in the direction of the new agenda of the "Comprehensive and Extended Partnership" agreement signed between Armenia and the European Union (SEPA), particularly in terms of cooperation in the field of security. "Now we are planning the next meeting of the common platform under SEPA on March 14. I think this is a very important meeting, and we will be very pleased to welcome here our colleagues from Brussels, they are also very interested in taking part in the formulation of this new agenda," said the ambassador.
