"Armenia should deal with that issue because we do not communicate with Russian forces." Ritter

The head of the EU observation mission in Armenia, Markus Ritter, announced that their mission could visit the entire territory of Armenia except for the Nerkin Hand area, which is the area of responsibility of the FSB of Russia.
He referred to Russia's justifications for not allowing EU observers to enter the Nerkin Hand. "From the beginning, we did not rule out that there might be problems with entering the Nerkin Hand. This question should be asked on the Russian side. We are guests in Armenia; Armenia should deal with the mentioned issue because we do not communicate with the Russian forces stationed in Armenia."
