On February 16, within the framework of the Munich conference, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, and Trade of the Republic of Malta, Ian Borg.
In continuation of this year, At the meeting held within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Conference in Skopje in November, the ministers discussed several issues of mutual interest.
Reference was made to the issues on the agenda of the political dialogue between Armenia and Malta, as well as the possibility of further strengthening ties with areas with significant development potential.
The ministers also discussed the prospects of deepening the RA-EU partnership and the steps taken.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Ian Borj also exchanged thoughts on the South Caucasus security situation and the region's latest developments. Minister Mirzoyan emphasized RA's approaches to solving the current challenge, regulating relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan based on territorial integrity, inseparability of borders, and respect for sovereignty.
In the context of regional issues, issues related to OSCE activities were also addressed, emphasizing the effective use of existing tools to contribute to regional stability and security by the organization's mandate.
