On February 15, RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan met with Togo's Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Diaspora, Robert Duce.
The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of developing bilateral relations and activating political dialogue, expressing willingness on both sides. The mutual interest in developing ties in various directions, particularly in economy, trade, and culture, the formation of the legal and contractual framework necessary for this purpose, and the organization of high-level reciprocal visits were emphasized.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Togo also discussed cooperation issues on international platforms.
The security situation in the South Caucasus was also discussed at the meeting. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia presented the current challenges and the vision of the Armenian side in overcoming them.
