On February 1, the Armenian Ambassador to Ukraine, Vladimir Karapetyan, met with Dnipropetrovsk Governor Sergey Lisak in Dnipro.
Issues related to the cooperation between Armenia and Ukraine, problems and needs of the Armenian community in the region, and some aspects of Armenia-Ukraine relations were discussed at the meeting.
The interlocutors agreed that the progress in bilateral relations favorably advances the bilateral cooperation agenda.
Bishop Markos Hovhannisyan, leader of the Armenian Diocese of Ukraine; Davit Mkrtchyan, head of the staff of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine; and Davit Arakelyan, head of the Armenian community of the Dnipropetrovsk region, were present at the meeting.
Before the meeting, the ambassador participated in the ceremony for providing humanitarian aid to the Dnipro military hospital by the Union of Armenians of Ukraine. In total, about 10 tons of medicines and other medicines were transferred.
