Tigran Khachatryan and the Belgian ambassador discussed the primary needs of the displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh.

Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Armenia, Eric de Muynck.

The Deputy Prime Minister congratulated the newly appointed ambassador and wished him success in fulfilling his responsible mission. In his turn, Ambassador Eric de Muynck stressed that he would invest maximum efforts in the direction of the continuous development of Armenian-Belgian multi-layered interaction.

Tigran Khachatryan presented to the ambassador in detail the needs of the forcibly displaced population from Nagorno-Karabakh and the ongoing work to address them. In particular, the Deputy Prime Minister referred to the steps taken by the RA government to meet the primary needs of our compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, including support for living, and also outlined the mid-term and long-term measures to ensure stable living conditions for them.

The interlocutors also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
