Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi, on Republic Day. The message states:
"I send warm congratulations to you and the friendly people of India on the Republic Day of India.
For the nations and states that fought for independence, Republic Day is a significant occasion to reaffirm the people's and the state's commitment to the principles of justice, sovereignty, equality, and brotherhood established by the Sahmānadru-team.
The Constitution of the Republic of India not only embodies the Indian historical and political culture but is also the best example of harmoniously combining the tenets of the nation's political and philosophical thoughts in the supreme law.
It is no coincidence that the ideas of the Constitution and constitutionalism played a significant role in the core of the centuries-old Armenian-Indian friendship, considering the drafting of the first Constitution of the Armenian people in India. Today, we can proudly record that our historically formed friendly ties and the shared past of peoples are entering the practical stage of new achievements in bilateral and multilateral relations.
Congratulating you again on the occasion of Republic Day, I wish you and the friendly people of India peace and prosperity."
