Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Armenia, Eric de Muynk.
Congratulating the ambassador on his assumption of office, the deputy prime minister emphasized the importance of opening a Belgian resident embassy in Armenia from the point of view of the development of Armenian-Belgian bilateral relations. Mher Grigoryan noted an excellent potential for cooperation between the two countries, and joint efforts should be made to identify and realize it.
During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister presented the logic and basic principles of the "Crossroads of Peace" project to the Belgian ambassador.
The interlocutors also discussed issues related to RA-EU relations. In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of fully implementing the RA-EU Comprehensive and Extended Partnership Agreement.
