"There was a blow to the peace process in several key issues." Mirzoyan

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated that Azerbaijan did not continue its constructive approach in relations with Armenia.

"It was demonstrated both in the context of the 7th editorial proposal of the agreement and in the interview of the President of Azerbaijan. There was a significant setback, a blow to the peace process in several key issues. It refers to the recognition of territorial integrity on general and specific surfaces and borders.

You will remember that the president of Azerbaijan was referring to some maps from 1918-20 or talking about drawing new borders. No one can draw new boundaries. We remain firm in our position that in the process of delimitation, the commissions should reproduce the borders drawn on legal grounds as they existed at the time of the collapse of the USSR and what is spoken about in the Alma Ata declaration," he said.
