"RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan received the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos. The minister welcomed the ambassador, emphasizing the need to deepen the existing Armenia-EU interaction, for which there are good prerequisites.
The EU ambassador, in turn, emphasized that 2023 was a good year for the development of Armenia-EU relations. Much work was done to deepen Armenia-EU relations, and 2024 will be very important in that regard.
"We have undertaken the commitment to strengthen bilateral cooperation and to deepen cooperation in all directions," said Vassilis Maragos.
During the meeting, issues related to the aviation sector were mainly discussed. The EU ambassador emphasized that the aviation and security sectors are at the center of their attention.
Several other issues of bilateral interest were also discussed, particularly regarding the construction of the southern part of the North-South road corridor and the construction of the Armenia-Georgia power transmission line.
