The cooperation plan in the field of defense was signed between Armenia and Kazakhstan

On January 23, within the framework of the official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, the official welcoming ceremony of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, was held at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the participation of an honor guard and a military band.

After the ceremony, the meeting between RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and Kazakhstan's Defense Minister, Colonel-General Ruslan Zhaksilikov, began.

During the meeting, issues related to Armenian-Kazakh defense cooperation, security, and other matters of mutual interest were discussed.

The great potential for the development of cooperation was noted on both sides, and an agreement was reached on the further development of cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the defense ministers signed the 2024 defense cooperation plan between the ministries of defense of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Kazakhstan, which includes several activities in Armenia and Kazakhstan.
