The meeting participants fully supported Armenia's reform and peace agenda and promised to continue cooperation in this direction. During his introductory speech and question and answer, Ambassador Balayan also presented Armenia's position regarding establishing lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
The RA Ambassador detailed the causes and consequences of ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh, emphasizing the sense of impunity rooted in Baku, which became even more prominent two days ago, thanks to the aggressive, threatening, and provocative statements of the President of Azerbaijan, which were full of dangers of destabilizing the already fragile situation.
