On December 21, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to CSTO activities. The Secretary General of the CSTO informed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia about the results of the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council held in Minsk in November 2023 and the joint session of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Council.
During the meeting, Ararat Mirzoyan and Imangali Tasmagambetov exchanged thoughts on the situation in the region and projects aimed at the development of transport and economic interdependence, including the "Crossroads of Peace" concept developed by the RA government.
