"I would like to consider yesterday's event as a zero point, from which we will be able to make efforts at least so that all future news will be more indicative of an increase in the probability of signing a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, not the other way around," said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, referring to 32 Armenians, on the return of prisoners of war.
He also referred to the tripartite meetings with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the agreements reached with the mediation of the EU, saying: "If Azerbaijan does not abandon these agreements and principles, signing a peace treaty with Azerbaijan shortly becomes very realistic. For my part, Armenia reaffirms and reaffirms its commitment to the mentioned agreements."
