"The western regions of Azerbaijan can be connected to Nakhichevan also by the northern route." prime minister

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke about the "Crossroads of Peace" at the ministerial meeting of landlocked developing countries. According to the Prime Minister, Armenia expresses its willingness to restore the railway communication between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the previously existing railways.

"The first is the northern route, which connects the Kazakh region of Azerbaijan with the Tavush region of Armenia; the second is the southern route, which connects the western regions of Azerbaijan with the autonomous republic of Nakhichevan.

We think that the western regions of Azerbaijan can be connected with Nakhichevan and the outside world through the northern route," he said.

Pashinyan emphasized that Armenia has officially expressed this readiness.

He also touched on highways, emphasizing that they can have north, middle, and south lanes.

"Armenia can connect and link other countries through the "Crossroads of Peace" along the north-south and east-west axes," he said.
