RA Minister of High-tech Industry Robert Khachatryan met with Mohamed Salah El Din Mustafa, Minister of State for Military Production of Egypt, during his working visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

During the meeting, Robert Khachatryan presented the main directions of the activity of the Ministry of Education and Culture, sectoral programs and goals, as well as the implemented works.

Minister Mohamed Salah, welcoming Minister Khachatryan and the Armenian delegation, emphasized the remarkable development recorded in bilateral relations with the support of the political leadership, emphasizing the visit of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the participation of President Vahagn Khachaturyan in the Climate Change Conference (COP27), which was held in 2022 in Sharm El - In Sheikh.

The parties emphasized the Armenian-Egyptian friendly and high-level relations, talked about the prospects of cooperation in the field of military industry.

Robert Khachatryan expressed the readiness of the Armenian side to cooperate with the Egyptian side in the fields of military industry, production, as well as in the exchange of professional experience, for the benefit of the development goals of both countries, particularly emphasizing the historical and strong Armenian-Egyptian friendship.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to organize mutual visits of specialists to identify the technological and production capabilities of both countries, to develop effective cooperation mechanisms.

The Minister of State for Military Production of Egypt visited the Armenian pavilion of the "EDEX 2023" exhibition and got acquainted with the presented military exhibits.
