Mirzoyan and the Danish Foreign Minister discussed issues on the bilateral and regional agenda

On November 30, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen in Skopje. The meeting took place within the framework of the 30th OSCE ministerial conference.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed bilateral and regional agenda issues and exchanged ideas on the main directions for deepening the partnership between RA and the EU.

In the context of the security situation in and around the South Caucasus, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Norway emphasized the importance of resolving the existing issues by observing the fundamental principles of international law and exclusively through the dialogue and negotiation process. In this context, Minister Mirzoyan presented to his colleague the principles reflected in the statement adopted after the quadrilateral meeting in Granada in October, noting that they are not new for the civilized world and that the firm commitment of all involved parties to them will ensure stability in the South Caucasus.

Ararat Mirzoyan presented in detail the "Crossroads of Peace" concept developed by the RA government, noting the opportunities provided by this program in terms of forming effective interconnections between the region and the countries beyond.

Addressing the needs and rights of more than 100 thousand Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh was also discussed.
