On November 28, Armen Grigoryan, the Secretary of the RA Security Council, met with the members of the joint delegation of the European Service of External Actions and the European Commission on issues of neighborhood and enlargement negotiations, migration and internal affairs, research and innovation, international partnership.
The parties discussed the prospects and ways of RA-EU bilateral cooperation in the field of security. In this context, A. Grigoryan emphasized the activities of the EU civilian observer mission as a good example of RA-EU cooperation, and the RA-EU cooperation within the framework of the European Peace Fund as a prospective direction of cooperation.
A. Grigoryan also emphasized the reforms aimed at the democratic control of the armed forces implemented in RA, highlighting them within the framework of RA-EU bilateral cooperation.
