The EU fact-finding mission is in Armenia
"Yesterday, the ambassador hosted officials from the EU who are on a fact-finding mission in Armenia. The main purpose of the Brussels delegation's visit was to get to know the activities of the EU mission in Armenia more deeply, taking into account the extension of its mandate.
The EU mission in Armenia is tasked with monitoring and reporting on the local situation, contributing to human security in conflict-affected areas, which in turn will promote confidence building between the peoples of Armenia and Azerbaijan and, if possible, the authorities of the latter. The EU mission is located in the territory of Armenia, in several marzes bordering Azerbaijan. Its activity extends along the entire border with Azerbaijan, including the part of Nakhichevan," said the Swedish Embassy in Armenia.Follow us on Telegram
