The intensive dialogue with the EU and EU member states has recently opened up new opportunities, stated Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the RA Security Council, at the "Strategic Future of Armenia, RA-Europe" conference in Brussels.
"We have never had such an intensive dialogue on security with the West and Europe before," he said. According to Grigoryan, progress has been made in the military field with France. "We hope that we will be able to strengthen our security cooperation both with collective Europe and with individual countries. And when I say security cooperation, I don't mean only military, but security in a wider context. Our economic cooperation can have a security component in its context," he said.
