"I want to express optimism that we may have good news shortly." Mirzoyan

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, speaking about the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, said he met the Turkish Foreign Minister in Tehran the other day.

"I want to express optimism by saying that at least our agreement, which referred to the opening of the Armenia-Turkey interstate land border for a special group of people (citizens of Armenia and Turkey with diplomatic passports, all citizens of 3rd countries), I want to express optimism that we may have good news here shortly," he said.
