"Armenia offered Russia to sign an interstate agreement on the Rome Statute.” Hakob Arshakyan

NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan informed that in the context of ratifying the Rome Statute, Armenia through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs proposed to Russia to sign a bilateral interstate agreement, which would exclude the application of the decisions of the international court in matters concerning both countries.

"We have proposed it, we have not received a response, but there is still time before it comes into force, and I hope that there will be progress," he said.

Arshakyan added that there is a similar agreement with the USA as well.
