To ensure the rights of Armenians in Artsakh, the UN must act professionally. Lemkin Institute

The Lemkin Institute is disappointed with the results of the UN mission's October 1 visit to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), which took place after the entire Armenian population of Artsakh had already fled due to forced displacement following the recent invasion of Azerbaijan.

This is stated in the press release from the institute.

"We call on the UN to prepare a proper mission to the Republic of Artsakh, which includes members of an international team from countries neutral to the conflict, to carry out a thorough analysis of the situation on the ground. To ensure the rights of Armenians in Artsakh, the UN must act with professionalism, impartiality, and loyalty to the values presented in the UN Charter," the statement said.
