In a briefing with journalists, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, referring to the cancellation of the planned meeting in Brussels, stated that the goal is not the platforms but the regulation of relations with the neighbors.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs referred to the statement of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov that the maps left over from Soviet times are only in the hands of Russia. According to Kostanyan, the maps that are being talked about, the maps of 1974-78, exist, and both the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides are familiar with them.
Kostanyan added that these maps were provided to the parties by various mediators.
