Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan also referred to the mechanisms of financial support for the displaced and the right to a pension. "After the adoption of this decision and the clarification of the status, those forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh who would like to adjust their pension rights to the mechanisms established by law in Armenia can apply for citizenship and receive confirmations," he said.

According to Khachatryan, not a single person of retirement age was left without adequate financial security.

This status will be granted for one year, possibly extending further.
