The Armenian-Indian parties discussed issues related to implementing transit cargo transportation through the port of Mumbai.

On October 18, RA Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Teryan met with Rajiv Jalota, Director of Mumbai Port of Indian Ports Association, within the framework of India's Global Maritime Summit in Mumbai. RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary also attended the meeting with India Vahagn Afyan and RA Trade Attaché to Iran Vardan Kostanyan.
During the meeting, Rajiv Jalota presented the possibilities of the port. Then, the parties discussed the issues related to implementing transit cargo transportation through the port of Mumbai. An agreement was reached on practical steps in that direction and possible cooperation in a tripartite format.
The deputy minister also visited the exhibition stands.
