Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a working lunch with a group of deputies of the European Parliament. Among them were Nathalie Loiseau, chairperson of the subcommittee on security and defense issues of the European Parliament, Viola von Kramon-Taubadel, co-rapporteur on Armenian issues in the European Parliament, Marina Kallurand, head of the delegation on South Caucasus issues, Andrey Kovachev, permanent rapporteur on Armenian issues, and others.
At the meeting, the humanitarian situation created by the forced displacement of more than 100,000 of our compatriots in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of the policy of ethnic cleansing by Azerbaijan, the further steps of assistance by the international community, the developments taking place in the region, the process of regulating Armenia-Azerbaijan relations were discussed.
Thoughts were exchanged on Armenia-European Union cooperation and further development.
