The security component has also increased in RA-EU relations. prime minister

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and European Parliament President Roberta Metzola made a statement after the meeting.

Nikol Pashinyan said that they want to deepen relations with the EU. "We don't want to contrast it in any way with the deepening of intra-regional relations and the vision of development, and in this regard, I think there are many points of support," Pashinyan said, adding that the Armenian government is committed to the full implementation of the comprehensive and expanded partnership agreement with the EU. "I am sure that the EU and RA have not exhausted the opportunities to supplement, expand, and bring the cooperation to a new level with qualitative new content."

According to Pashinyan, a security component has also increased in RA-EU relations through the EU civilian mission, which monitors along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
