The State Department denies the statement attributed to Blinken about the possible invasion of Armenia by Azerbaijan
The State Department of the United States denies the publication of the Politico periodical that the Secretary of State Anthony Blinken warned during the meeting with the US lawmakers that Azerbaijan may invade Armenia in the coming weeks. In a comment to "Armenpress," State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that the information in the article is "incorrect" and "does not reflect what Secretary of State Blinken told lawmakers."
"The United States strongly supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Armenia. We emphasized that violating sovereignty and territorial integrity will have serious consequences. The information in this (ed.: Politico) article is incorrect and does not in any way reflect what Secretary of State Blinken told the legislators," State Department spokesman Miller said in a comment to "Armenpress."
