The President of the Portuguese Assembly is ready to help Armenia find solutions
RA NA Speaker Alen Simonyan met with Augusto Santos Silva, Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Portugal, in Dublin.
The parties emphasized the positive dynamics of the activation of contacts between the two countries and the recent development of bilateral relations on multilateral platforms. The parties spoke about the situation in the region and the problems of gross violation of the rights of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh:
The Portuguese colleague noted that he was deeply familiar with the situation and expressed condolences to the victims' relatives. He said his willingness to assist in mitigating the problem and finding solutions within the framework of his powers.
At the end of the meeting, the RA NA Speaker invited his Portuguese counterpart to Armenia.
